Ryan Paul Scordato is an attorney with O’Connor & O’Connor, LLC, focusing primarily on Construction Law, Personal Injury Litigation, and Commercial/Corporate Litigation representing clients throughout the state of Florida.
Currently, Mr. Scordato is the co-Chair of the Orange County Bar Association’s Construction Law Committee. He is also an active leader of the Orange County Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Section, serving as the current co-Chair of the Young Lawyers and Law Clerks Reception Committee. He has served as co-chair of the YLS Golf Tournament Committee (2014, 2015) and the New Membership Committee (2013).
Mr. Scordato is licensed to practice before all Florida state courts and the Middle District of Florida. He attended Louisiana State University for law school, graduating from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2010. In law school, he competed in the Tullis Moot Court and the Flory Criminal Trial competitions, while also serving as the Vice Justice for the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity and helping to re-establish the chapter at LSU.
Further, Mr. Scordato has been a Board Member at the Christian Service Center since 2011, and recently was elected President of the Board. In 2012, he served on the Committee for the Make-A-Wish Foundation Golf Classic, and in the fall of 2013 Mr. Scordato participated in the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s “Lock-Up” program. Mr. Scordato is also an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando.
Mr. Scordato was born on June 19, 1985 and was raised in Ellington, Connecticut. He attended the University of Connecticut for his undergraduate degree, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2007. While at the University of Connecticut, Mr. Scordato was a four year member of the men’s lacrosse team, and served as team captain his senior year. Further, Mr. Scordato was recently voted onto the Uconn Lacrosse “All-Decade Team” for 2000-2010. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Colleen, and son, Braden. He also enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, and serving the Central Florida community.
