Following trial or summary judgment, it is common for one or sometimes both sides to be unhappy with the results.  Our appellate department has extensive experience navigating the complexities of review at the next level, whether it involves a case tried by our firm or outside counsel.  We also routinely challenge adverse “interlocutory” orders – orders rendered in the middle of a case – through direct appeal or extraordinary writ practice as applicable.

Appellate practice is unique in that success depends on detail-oriented counsel who have the capability to provide sophisticated and comfortable representation in an academically rigorous arena.  Since opening the firm in 2012, our dozens of appellate decisions have included four at the Florida Supreme Court that established landmark law in their respective fields.
